The iconic Challenge Diver has its own legend. Six years after the model’s release, one was found washed up on Long Reef Beach in Sydney, Australia, with the mechanism still in perfect working order despite an encrustation of barnacles. This 35th anniversary limited edition takes its design cues from the transparent blue sea and gorgeous white sand of Long Reef. It’s a mechanical watch with a movement updated and adapted for present-day needs.

1. Dial evoking the transparent blue sea
The vivid colour of the dial takes its inspiration from the clear blue sea at Long Reef Beach in Australia where the legendary barnacle-encrusted Challenge Diver was found in 1983.
2. Duratect Platinum case and bracelet
Case and bracelet are treated with Duratect Platinum for an elegant look. The bright, transparent tone recalls the breathtaking beauty of the white sand of Long Reef Beach.
3. Aluminium bezel in sumptuous black
The bold black of the bezel adds a powerful visual accent. The contrast with the softer blues and whites sharpens and invigorates the whole design.
