1. UTC rotating disc with Northern Hemisphere map
Features a UTC rotating disc for telling the approximate time in the Northern Hemisphere’s major cities (world time). The number at the 6 o’clock position on the disc’s black outer ring indicates UTC time, with the disc taking 24 hours to perform a full revolution. As you look at the map, you can enjoy imagining what’s going in different times and places right now.
2. Typeface inspired by aeronautical charts
An atmospheric serif font that recalls the lettering of aviation and aeronautical charts is used for the numbers on the rim of the UTC rotating disc and the abbreviated city names on the rim of the dial. The typeface offers the practical benefit of enhanced legibility while also evoking the romance and allure of journeys into the unknown.
